SPONSOR A PONY.........

And help us continue to help ponies in need......

Every pony in our care costs in the region of £2000 per year in order to provide housing costs, feed & bedding alone. This is without other basic necessities such as farrier costs for hoof trimming, routine & emergency veterinary & dental care, transportation & yard/field maintenance costs to name a few of our overheads.

We rely solely on the kindness & generosity of our supporters, we receive no government subsidies or additional funding support. Individual sponsorship really helps relieve some of the worries a small charity like BMPR has by allowing us the reassurance of knowing we have a regular income. By supporting a small charity like ourselves you can also be assured knowing that each & every penny of all donations received are going straight back into providing everything our ponies need & deserve & not into employees salaries, offices etc as we are 100% voluntary run.

Its easy to set up a weekly, monthly or one off donation either by Paypal using the drop-down menus below or by setting up a regular standing order through your bank online to - Bodmin Moorland Pony Rehabilitation. Sort code - 30-67-79. Acc. no.- 37329968. We also welcome any of our regular supporters to visit our ponies, just get in touch if you'd like to pop by....

PHOENIX......

In our care since 2014, Phoenix is a very sensitive soul who does not cope well with change & gets very upset without a set routine. She is still learning basic tasks due to her hypersensitivity which makes her unsuitable for rehoming.

REBEL.....

Rebel also came in to our care in 2014 with Phoenix who is suspected to be his mother. He too is hypersensitive to certain situations, does not enjoy being part of a larger herd with big characters or in a field & likes the security of his stable & being on yard. He's also unsure of most humans but is a very gentle soul with younger ponies & foals which makes him a wonderful yard companion to new ponies

PANDA

Panda joined us in April 2016 after we spent 6 weeks independently monitoring & providing for her herd until she was placed into our care. She was a very poorly foal that could not stand herself up without assistance. She is now a thriving 3 year old & is the yard celebrity. As a mascot she will be helping us raise awareness while she fully matures.

HODGY & MONTY

HodgePodge as we like to call this pair joined us in June 2015, both were orphan foals, Hodgy's mum had been knocked down by a car & Monty was found alongside his deceased mother. Both were approx. 2 months old. They are inseparable & will remain with us as mascots for a while getting out and about as they're both very dinky, raising awareness of our charity
